It may be that a child has not learned to do some of those activities (e.g., somersaults), but it does not necessarily mean that he/she is not capable of doing them. |

Gross Motor Skills (Large Muscles) May Include:
- Walking up and down stairs using alternating feet
- Jumping
- Bouncing a ball
- Throwing and catching a ball
- Hopping on one foot
