Vision
| Vision Screenings are offered twice a year at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Other screening sites will be available throughout the year. Screenings are done by community optometrists on a voluntary basis. The screen will detect possible vision problems as well as determine whether a child may need glasses. |

Signs and Possible Vision Problems
- Eyes itch, burn or feel scratchy
- Dizziness, headaches, or nausea following close work
- Shuts or covers one eye, tilts head or thrusts head forward
- Holds book close to eyes
- Squints or frowns
