Welcome to Fair Start

The Years Before Five Last the Rest of Their Lives

imageAt Fair Start, we help families throughout the Thunder Bay area by providing free developmental screening for children 18 months - school age.

Fair Start Screening helps parents and caregivers have a quick look at their child's overall development in the areas of:

Speech and Language Development
Fine and Gross Motor Skills
Social Development and Self-help Skills

Research shows that over 75% of a child's brain actually develops after his/her birth, and with most taking place in the first five years of life. These years are most critical in shaping each child's ability to think, love, trust, and build a strong and positive sense of themselves.

Fair Start is for every child from 18 months to JK entry.

We invite you to browse our Website and learn more about our services.
